Steel Legion

Steel Legion is a free online physics-based tank combat game played from a side view. You start with the Cobra tank and fight across uneven landscapes where every hill, slope, and obstacle changes how your machine moves and where your shells land. The goal is direct and addictive: eliminate as many enemy tanks as possible, collect the coins they drop, and keep upgrading until you can outlast tougher forces like the Legion itself. The whole battle runs in the browser with no separate download.

Physics give the terrain real tactical meaning. Rolling downhill builds momentum for fast dodges, a slope can shield the hull or tilt the cannon at a better angle, and firing from stable ground beats shooting mid-bounce. Coins fund upgrades for armor, engines, and guns, and they also unlock new war machines such as Joker, Titan, Barracuda, and Mammoth, each with its own character. Stages including Midsummer Siege, Winter War, Desert Assault, and Jungle Patrol keep changing the map under your tracks.

This browser build is controlled with the keyboard: drive with A and D or the arrow keys, fire with the spacebar, and press B to repair the tank when the armor runs low. Those inputs make a desktop or laptop the most comfortable place to play, and the page does not claim mobile support that has not been verified. Nothing loads until you press Play, so the game only starts when you ask for it.
