About TankCraft
TankCraft is a free online tank building and battle game that splits its time between the garage and the battlefield. You start with a basic machine, collect valuable intel as you fight, and craft the ultimate tank destroyer piece by piece: the tower carries armor and weapon mounts, the corps is the armored body with tracks, the weapon sets your damage output, and the motor decides how fast you can move while carrying all that weight. The whole loop runs in the browser with no separate download.
Every part matters in battle. Stronger armor on the tower and hull keeps you alive under concentrated fire, while the weapon slot offers real choices between firing speeds and ammo types such as grenades, high-explosive shells, and armor-piercing rounds. A powerful motor is not just about speed: it also hauls heavy plating and big guns without slowing to a crawl. Once your build is ready, you take it into fights against enemy tanks and dangerous bosses, then return to the garage with fresh intel to upgrade again.
This browser build is controlled with the keyboard and mouse: drive with A and D or the arrow keys, tilt the shooter up and down with W and S, fire with the spacebar or a left click, and trigger boosters with Z, X, and C or the number row. Those inputs make a desktop or laptop the recommended way to play, and nothing loads until you press Play.
