About Zombie Merge
Zombie Merge is a free online top-down survival shooting duel with a twist that changes how every shot counts. Your survivor is pinned at the center of the arena while a zombie horde pours in from every edge, and a rival survivor fights their own wave on the other side of the field. Whoever racks up more points before the 90-second clock expires wins the duel, so every decision is measured against both the horde and the scoreboard.
The defining mechanic is the merge. Killing a zombie below the maximum tier does not clear it from the field—instead, it fuses with another zombie of the same type, upgrading into something bigger, slower, tougher, and worth more points. Only the top-tier Colossus at level five dies permanently. Shooting is therefore an economy: every low-tier kill feeds a fusion, and the deeper you get into a run, the more dangerous the horde grows and the higher the point ceiling climbs.
Aiming is deliberately simple. The gun auto-aims on its own, and you can click or touch and drag to swing the barrel manually for precise placement before releasing back to auto-aim. Those inputs work identically with a mouse or a thumb, so the verified build plays the same on desktop and on phones and tablets. The browser version starts from this page after you press Play, with no download or separate launcher.
