About Tanko.io
Tanko.io is a free online team tank battle where two sides fight to destroy the opposing base. You directly control one vehicle, move across a three-dimensional battlefield, and fire at rival tanks or the enemy headquarters. A team wins when its artillery pressure reduces the other base's health to zero, so chasing individual opponents is not always as valuable as supporting a coordinated push.
Movement, firing angle, and distance shape each encounter. Driving alone into several defenders usually feeds the opposing side an easy elimination, while advancing with teammates creates overlapping shots. A damaged base changes priorities: one team may need to defend a narrow approach while the other looks for a safe route to finish the objective. The match therefore mixes quick action with simple team strategy.
The verified controls use WASD or arrow keys and the left mouse button, making this browser version best for a desktop or laptop. Mobile touch support is not confirmed and is not advertised.
